So...a lot has happened in a year!

We planted a garden and by "we" I mean Calley.

 

We got prego with #2

3 of us got prego at work.  Well, not actually at work but you know what I mean.

We took Malone to her first Ranger game.  She loved it!  Gentry is her favorite player.  Why you ask?  Because she wants to hug him.  Me too sister, me too.

We took our first ever family vacation.  It was great!  Malone loved the beach.  

Can't wait to do that as a family of 4!

Poor Calley hurt his foot.  32 stiches...ouch!

My belly got HUGE!  

Then this beauty was born.  Can't wait to blog her birth story.

Family Pics!!

Thanks to Julie at Photo Jewels Photography for our awesome family pics! I know it wasn't easy with my, *ahem*, spirited child. I was actually shocked that we got the pics we did. She was way more interested in running and playing in the dirt than posing for pictures. She likes to keep things interesting. I think I sweated more in this photo shoot than I did on the day I gave birth to her. Oh well, this is life with a 20 month old right? Hope everyone likes the pics, Julie does amazing work!

Funny Girl

I didn't realize I had so many funny pics of Malone on my computer till I started going through them tonight. This girl is really getting a cute little personality. She does some seriously funny stuff. It's amazing to me that she is already 18 months old. Time really does fly!

All of this to say, Summer has been great! For me and my family, summer is coming to a screeching halt this week. The Hubs starts back to work and although I am excited to start a new football season the thought of having no husband for 3 months makes me ill. I miss him so much during this time and now that Malone is here it makes it that much harder to have him gone. I have to tell myself it is just a season and I am truly lucky that he only works 7 days a week for a short time. There are many women who have husbands deployed and do it all on their own for months. God bless 'em!

Hopefully I can get my booty into gear and start posting more regularly. I and by I, I mean the Hubs is still working on that office space reveal. Hopefully I can get it done in the next couple of weeks. Keep your fingers crossed!

Happy Anniversary Birthday!!!

Say what??

That's right the Hubs and I are celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary and his 31st birthday. It was the Hubs idea to get married on his birthday. Pretty genius idea on his part. This way he never forgets an anniversary unless he forgets his birthday in which case I will have to get him a doctor's visit to check on that memory pronto.

This man is my true love! He came into my life almost 6 years ago and has made me a believer out of forever. I couldn't imagine anyone in this whole world who I would rather spend this crazy life with. He always laughs at my jokes and truly thinks I am hysterical. He values my thoughts and opinions. He always has my best interests at heart. He would do anything for me, anytime, anywhere, period. He loves hard. This is probably his best quality. If he loves and cares for you, there is no one better at showing it than him. He is great at what he does. Though he his tough, he truly cares about the kids he coaches and teaches.

And last but not least, he is the best Daddy to our baby girl. I love watching them together. He lights up when he sees her and that makes my heart melt.

Here's to the Hubs on his 31st year and here's to us for the big 4 year's of marriage.

Father's Day was good. The Hubs got just what he wanted. A nap and he watched fishing a baseball all day long!

I am so thankful he is ours! I couldn't have asked for a better Father to my little girl.

From the beginning he swooped in like he had been a Father to a newborn a million times.

He changed diapers, he fed her, he rocked her, he consoled her, he gave her medicine, he plays Mr. Mom when this Momma has to work. He can do everything that I can do and most times even better! He never complains. He truly enjoys every single moment and never seems to get overwhelmed. Always taking every moment of raising our first child in stride.

He truly amazes me. Seriously, I am in awe of him!

When I was a crazy person after Malone was born, postpartum anyone?

He was there to pick up all the pieces and help us along.

Even though he can drive me crazy sometimes, God knew what he was doing when he brought the Hubs into my life almost 6 years ago. I am happy but even happier that Malone gets a Daddy like him. She will never have to question how much he loves her because not only is it written all over his face but he tells her and shows her a million times a day.

Summertime = Family time and a Giveaway!

We've been doing lots of family time lately. Posts will be sparse but that's ok. I have been looking so forward to the day that the Hubs is out for summer. He gets 6 weeks off!!!!! Much needed after a hard year coaching and teaching. By the time summer gets here, I am so ready for him to have a break and all I want to do is hole up in the house and snuggle. So we have!

Malone took her first summer trip to Lulu and Pops and had a blast. They played hard and had lots of good lovin'. We picked her up on Saturday and spent the weekend with the Hubs grandparents. So great to relax and spend time with the fam!
